Agnieszka Baranowska BiographyWhen going through Agnieszka’s work it is like a travel through various universes and eras. Her vision and combinations are full of adventure and beauty. She can be romantic and edgy at the same time and has a great taste and natural sense of what is appropriate for each story.... then she adds her little magic on top and the work is perfected. She is known for her creativity and multiple talent as a creative director, stylist and casting director. Agneszka’s carrieer as a stylist started off when she met the French designer Gilles Rosier and became his muse. She worked both for Gilles own label and for the Kenzo collection. Soon she started to work as a casting director for Gilles fashion shows in Paris that lead her to Dice Kayek and Isabelle Marant. She worked closely with these designers on castings and collections. Her talent of combining clothes got her into styling look books and catalogue for Kenzo and Antik Batik. She worked in collaboration with various photographers including Thierry Le Goues, Karen Collins,Phaedra Brodie,Lisa Roze,Camille Vivier,Kate Barry,Silja Magg for magazines and art projects.After being introdused to the music world by working as a stylist for various music magazines including “Les Inrockuptibles”, “Magic”, “Biscuit” she started working for record labels like EMI,VIRGIN ,Discograph and Europacorp. She styled CD covers for singers like: Keren Ann -“NOT GOING ANYWHERE”,-”NOLITA”, Bardi Johannsson- “HAXAN”, Zoe- “TOUT VA BIEN”, Brigitte Fontaine- “KEKELAND”,Bubbi Mortens-“BUBBIAST”-“PARADIS”,Singapore Sling-“TASTE THE BLOOD OF SINGAPORE SLING” and take care for press photos for KEREN ANN and LADY&BIRD. This work also got her into styling music videos-BANG GANG. THis film work lead her into styling the fashion short film “Red Death” that was premiered in Centre Pompidou in Paris.
