Rachelle Mintz, better known as "Shelley" was born in San Diego, CA in the late 80's. Her and her family moved back to the East Coast after a few years where they resided in Milford, CT. Shelley always loved art but in high school when she decided to take a photography class she truly found her niche. She would get caught skipping classes to go to the darkroom and develop and print her negatives. In her last year of high school she applied to the School of Visual Arts, was accepted and never looked back. During college Shelley focused on portraits and a lot of personal family work. She was praised for her lighting and emotion found in each piece. She went on to graduate with a BFA in Photography and now resides in Brooklyn, NY with her boyfriend. <br>
